A child with an incarcerated parent is five times more likely to end up in prison. An imprisoned parent implicates the loss of revenue for the family.

These families lack the necessary funds to give their children an education.

Thanks to the program ‘Arbre de l’Ange’, the children of prisoners receive year-long aid (education, health, emotional…).

The start of school in the Philippines in June is an essential time to support these children.

Providing moral, material and psychological help to these children with respect to their reintegration into the community and ‘mainstream life’.

Activities are broken up according to the children’s age and characteristics.

• Help with obtaining their birth certificate ( imperative for school enrolment)
• Tutoring in Mathematics and English
• Psychological support for the more unstable children
• Helping 16-18 year olds find a job
